I write award-winning historical romance about pirates, privateers, smugglers and the occasional possum.

Glamour in Glass - Mary Robinette Kowal I enjoyed this very much, though anyone who's familiar with European history in the early 19th C. will immediately see where it was headed. Nonetheless, the author wove the historical tidbits like the bee symbol into the novel as seamlessly as her protagonist creating a glamour. The ending, however, seemed abrupt given the events surrounding it. One can hope this means it's a stepping stone to the next book.
