I write award-winning historical romance about pirates, privateers, smugglers and the occasional possum.

Until There Was You (Coming Home, #2) - Jessica Scott Jessica Scott brings a unique perspective to writing romance, that of an active duty member of the U.S. Army. When she writes about the culture of life in the armed forces among career military, it's almost like a glimpse into a foreign society, one similar to civilian life, yet having its own unique dynamic and pressures. Lives are at stake in decision making and there aren't often opportunities for do-overs.This is her second "Coming Home" novel, and the secondary characters give it a special depth. I especially enjoyed how "Combat Barbie" emerged as a character with more substance, almost like the classic WWII movies where the green 2nd Lt. has an opportunity to shine under pressure.I'm looking forward to more tales of today's Army from Scott.
