So it turns out the rumors of Harry Dresden's death have been greatly exaggerated, and he's back. Dresden readers everywhere will rejoice, but this is an exhausting novel! In the space of about 24 hours Harry's got to save the world (again), or at least a huge section of Illinois. There are so many minor characters from Harry's past in this novel that a scorecard would have helped, but don't let that stop you from reading Cold Days. It's classic Harry Dresden, with irreverent one-liners, geek pop culture references, and drama--lots and lots of drama moving along at break-neck speed. The good news is, because Harry's not really dead (yet), we can look forward to more Dresden Files adventures in the future.
